Art is for everyone and living with art will change your life. This is fundamental to my ‘why’ as a business owner. I started to collect art before I bought my first new couch because art brought me more joy. I am always searching for ways to keep art accessible to all in new and better ways. This is why I am so excited about the new Summer 2021 shop collection launch.
I’ve partnered with two companies to make this happen. Last fall I started to have my art professionally scanned by Vada Color of Traverse City and the quality of my reproductions changed dramatically. Everything in the Summer 2021 collection has been scanned by Vada Color to give you reproductions that are as close as possible to my original work.
I also work with the folks at Visitors Media on everything from my website to designing new products and improving the ways we bring better merchandise to you all. With the help of my tribe, I’ve created this Summer 2021 collection, which I’m so happy to share with you today. Without further ado… here’s what we came up with.
Summer 2021 Collection Preview
New July ’21- June ’22 Calendars
The beauty of my calendar poster series is the flexibility of the format. We updated our calendar to be July- June because that’s how we live in Northern Michigan and summer is the new January! This is perfect for your cottage or Airbnb. And best of all, when the month is over you can cut-off the calendar and you’re left with a 12″x12″ image that’s ready to frame.
Fine Art Posters
This season I’m introducing 14 new fine art posters available in two sizes: 11″ x 14″ and 16″ x 20″. I’ve selected images from several galleries including Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leelanau, M-22, Lake Michigan and On the Michigan Wine Trail. These beautiful reproductions are presented in a way that does not require matting. And they are priced so you can buy several and hang them together. In fact, if you do, please share a photo! I love to see where my art resides.
Notecards
So while notecards are not a new product in my collection, these newly released ones are better than anything I’ve reproduced in the past. This summer you’ll find the newest M-22 Notecard Series, along with my current Wine Trail and Sleeping Bear Dunes notecards. Each set comes with 8 notecards, 2 each of 4 designs in the series.
Graphic Posters
This season we’ve added 2 new posters. The M-22 Road of Dreams features my painting, Let the Sun In. For years I’ve wanted a poster to represent the iconic Dune Climb at Sleeping Bear Dunes. I created two paintings, When the Sun Goes Down which was painted at sunset and Suns Out which was painted in the daylight. My popular vote Suns Out became this season’s new poster.

New Retail Shops
Did you know you can find my art in a handful of select locations in Northern Michigan? This summer I have 2 new retail locations that I’m excited to share with you. Poppy Things in Suttons Bay is the cutest boutique and hand-curated art gallery you’ve ever seen. And the Cottage Book Shop in Glen Arbor, where I’ve long loved to visit, is now offering my prints for sale. If you’re in Suttons Bay or Glen Arbor stop by and see this new Summer 2021 collection in person!
Happy Summer friends. Make it artful in all the ways you can!
